- I'm a professional writer (theater/film) who believes in furthering the excellence of black theater and the arts. I have founded numerous writing workshops in New York and have been a mentor to many emerging playwrights and screenwriters. I've made a recent move to Atlanta because my instincts tell me it is a new "frontier" for black art. I have founded my own production company (Jammit Productions) and plan to produce many projects from my new base. I am presently forming a LLC to do a major tour of a play about Dorothy Dandridge.
