3. Sign-Up for HooteSuite at . HootSuite organizes and makes sense of the Twitter process. Like in all marketing and social media, the goal is to build relationships or build on existing relationships. HootSuite allows you to:
1. manage multiple profiles (if needed)
2. post and schedule posts hours, days, months in advance - also allows you to view your pending post
3. to shorten urls and track your shorten HooteSuite url
4. to click on a tab and see everyone who has replied to you (@yourtwittername). This feature is KEY. It allows you to be responsive to those who communicate with you without having to be on Twitter at the moment they post to you.
5. see and send DM (direct messages)
view the stats of people who have clicked on your HooteSuite shortened urls. This is the 2nd KEY feature. Now, you can see what works. What type of messages compel people to click on links. What type of messages are your followers more responsive to.
7. search. Why search? Identify your target audience by keyword searches (radio stations, venues, talent buyers, producers, etc. - you get point)
